INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEANUP 2011 REMINDERS
FOR CLEANUP COORDINATOR OF EACH ORGANIZATION/ AGENCY/ CLUB/ SCHOOL: 1. Orient your contingent/s about the International Coastal Cleanup, the importance of data collection, how to fill-up data cards and how to make estimations (see downloadable slideshow presentations, Guide to Marine Debris, and Handbook for Coordinators at our website). 2. Remind volunteers on safety and dangers (i.e. sharp and pointed objects) 3. A Coordinator has to pre-register his/her respective group at https://sites.google.com/site/iccphilippines/sign-up-to-cleanup or you can send it by email. Submit also a copy at the registration area on ICC day. 4. Organize your contingents by dividing them into groups with 4-5 members for ease in collecting and recording. 5. Remind them on the proper attire (i.e. tee-shirts & pants, PE uniforms, or any uniformly colored tee-shirts to identify your contingents; rubber shoes or any closed shoes) 6.
